The big question…and I mean the BIG question…is “Did this episode live up to the hype?” YES! Absolutely it did! There was plenty in this episode to make any Supergirl or Flash fan happy. This was a crossover where both lead characters had the chance to shine without taking anything away from either. Episode 2.16 of THE FLASH gives us a theme of losing faith in heroes. In some cases, that faith can be won back. In others, it may take time…but what if your hero turns out to be the biggest bad guy of all? Oh, yes, you think I’m talking about…him…and to a certain extent I am, but it applies across the board in a very well-executed episode of THE FLASH!

If you thought this was going to be a “filler” episode, bringing back a fan-favorite character for an encore but not doing much of substance…surprise! Episode 2.15 of THE FLASH is in many ways one of the best episodes of the season, with exceptional CG, great cameos, and significant plot points that will leave your jaw hitting the floor! When we left the last episode of THE FLASH, Barry had been captured by Zoom on Earth-2 while Geomancer was literally tearing up the landscape on Earth-1. Time is running out for Barry to get away and for the “away” team of Barry, Cisco and Harry to return to Earth-1…but the bigger question is whether they will survive long enough to worry about that. That brings us to “Escape from Earth-2”, Episode 2.14 of THE FLASH!
