#FlashxArrow was set to be another amazing crossover, with an even greater purpose – to act as a springboard for the upcoming ‘Legends of Tomorrow” series. Introducing us to Vandal Savage, having Hawkgirl discover her powers, giving us some important developments on several fronts, this pair of episodes carried a tremendous weight of expectations. This is what we’ve been waiting for…for Professor Zoom to show his hand. The hunt is over and the battle begins on several fronts. The police blame Barry for the recent destruction in Central City, and Professor Zoom blames Barry for…well, just about everything bad in history. Things are stacked up against the Flash in just about every Avway possible, which is where we pick up in “End of the Hunt”, THE FLASH #46!

We get so many fun things in this episode that’s it’s hard to know where to start…but without hitting spoilers too early, let’s note that this episode has some elements of both King Kong (to be expected) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (not so expected but very cool). Barry is trying to heal after Zoom’s attack last episode, but will he heal in time to deal with…Grodd? More about that after the jump.

What’s my motivation? It’s an old stereotyped question any method actor will supposedly ask when preparing for a scene. But, it applies here in a different way – put better as “Why am I doing this?” It fits when talking about why Barry is moving so quickly to fight Zoom. Linda Park may well ask that question at one particular point in this episode (don’t worry, we’ll get to that). And, the entire Flash team wants to know just why Wells is doing…whatever he’s doing as well. All this and more in “Enter Zoom”, Episode 6 of Season 2 of THE FLASH!

The “Darkseid War” arc in Justice League has moved into a phase where the members of the League are becoming gods themselves! Batman has become the God of Knowledge, taking over Metron’s chair.
