Quick note: ComiXology is running a Convergence Week 3 sale featuring DC comics from the 1980s. If you scroll way down to the end, you’ll find The Flash #340-350, featuring the famous (or is it infamous) “Trial of the Flash” story that wrapped up the pre-Crisis series starring Barry Allen.
After releasing two issues a week for several months, DC hasn’t added any new Flash issues to their digital backlist since the big Flash 500 sale in March. Maybe we’ll see more after Convergence?
It’s pre-Crisis week for DC’s Convergence event, and that includes a second Flash miniseries, this one focusing on early 1980s Barry Allen. Crave Online has a preview of the issue, revealing just how Barry ended up back in the 20th Century to be trapped under the dome, and what he’s been doing there.
Trapped in Gotham City, Barry Allen has nowhere to run. He fights on, seeking justice as well as a way to save the city, but he faces a Tangent Universe foe who thinks faster than even The Flash can run!

Hmm, lower left might be an updated Folded Man or Shadow Thief. The cloak reminds me of New 52 Shazam, so maybe a related character. The woman with the headdress doesn’t ring any bells, but the one with the visor reminds me a bit of one of the future Cobalt Blues. And someone sure seems to be spinning a lot.
We’ve already seen some clips and snippets from next week’s Flash episode, titled “Who Is Harrison Wells?”, but this promo is a full minute long. There are spoilers, obviously.

DC Comics’ July variant covers are all themed around Teen Titans Go, the wacky cartoon version of the characters currently airing on the Cartoon Network. In this one, released through Geek Mom, the Flash seems to have confused Beast Boy for Gorilla Grodd.
Today we’ve gotten some clips from next week’s episode “Who Is Harrison Wells?”, along with some commentary by showrunner Andrew Kreisberg. It is fairly spoilery for some major plot points, just so you’re warned.
