“Subject 9” – Review of S4 Ep14 of THE FLASH

We’re back! After two weeks off, THE FLASH returns to the airwaves with a NEW episode! Just to recap – DeVoe is on a second new identity and is walking around with the powers of six of the riders on that now-infamous bus after an attack on Iron Heights.  Barry is freed from jail after “DeVoe” (actually Ralph disguised as DeVoe) appears in court. We are about to be introduced to the Arrowverse incarnation of The Fiddler…and Ralph is headed for heartbreak. Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!

“When Harry Met Harry” Review of S4 Ep6 of THE FLASH

Ralph Dibny is learning how to be a hero. He even gets his own (awful) suit, with a color that should be familiar to at least some comics fans…but still awful. He has a lot of education ahead of him…it’s a bit of a “stretch” to say he’s a hero yet (couldn’t resist that) but he is at least putting forth the effort.  Meanwhile, we see the “Council of Wells”…which is an experience in an of itself. “Elongated Journey Into Night” Review of THE FLASH S4 Ep4

One of my favorite DC characters, from the Silver Age on, has been Ralph Dibny, the Elongated Man. Yes, that’s a mouthful of a hero name, but still an amazing character. Tonight, Ralph Dibny enters the TV world of THE FLASH in an episode directed by Tom Cavanagh. So, how long can I “stretch” this intro (pun intended)? Let’s get to the review, right after the jump!

Digital Silver Age continues with Flash #111-112: Cloud Creatures & Elongated Man

Flash 111It looks like DC has, indeed, started filling in the classic Silver Age Flash comics from the late 1950s/early 1960s on their digital backlist! ComiXology has added Flash #111 and Flash #112 this week, featuring the Invasion of the Cloud Creatures, Kid Flash Wally West’s first two solo adventures, and the first appearance of Ralph Dibny, the World-Famous Elongated Man.
