Hey Speed Readers,
Some exciting news coming down the pipeline from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment this yesterday afternoon concerning DC Comics latest video game venture, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Injustice is a fighting game developed in the same vein as Mortal Kombat and in fact is being produced by the studio who brought us Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, NetherRealm Studios (formerly known as Midway). The game is now set to be released on April 16th, 2013 here in the states for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii U game consoles. European gamers will have to wait 3 more days.
Hey Speed Readers,
So I’ve been following DC Comic’s latest foray into fighting games, Injustice: Gods Among Us extremely closely. Albeit flawed I enjoyed Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe a decent amount and always hoped for a sequel (preferably without any Mortal Kombat characters). Thankfully I got both of my wishes and Netherrealm Studios (a reshuffled Midway) will be bringing this game to us in April of 2013 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Wii U (Just in time for my birthday *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*).
Hey Speed Readers,
As the latest Justice League video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us (due out in 2013) gets further along in development, Ed Boon and the folks at NetherRealm studios are keeping us in the loop with this recent bit of extended gameplay footage. So far we’ve been privy to various bits of videos, some wallpapers and art of the confirmed characters featured in the title. Now Ed Boon via IGN brings us 15 minutes of gameplay featuring The Flash vs. Superman (As well as Grundy and Batman which can be seen HERE!

From the character select screen. It looks like we will be getting a total of 12 Heroes and 12 Villains for a combined total of 24 characters. Unless they are already included in this build I could see us getting a couple more characters via DLC (Download Content). At least this time around all the characters should be DC-related.
Devin back with a bit more Flash video game news. This past Friday the Injustice: Gods Among Us Facebook page posted an exclusive image of Batman facing off against the Flash with a close up of The Flash’s new duds:
