After last week’s events, Nora has taken all the wrong advice. Or, has she? We see a different side of XS in this episode, as she gathers some new partners to follow Thawne’s plan. And, we see Barry and Iris trying to figure out how to make things right with their daughter. I know it seems a bit odd to talk about a Marvel book on a Flash website, but stay with me a moment. There are two series currently running, one at DC and one at Marvel, in which mental illness has been portrayed in a major plot line. For DC, it’s HEROES IN CRISIS, with a tragedy occurring at a mental health facility for superheroes called Sanctuary. For Marvel, it’s THE UNSTOPPABLE WASP, in which the lead character is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. So, how do the two story lines match up? Follow us after the jump!

Writer Joshua Williamson has found the secret to wrapping up an arc…don’t try to wrap up everything in a nice, neat little bow. There are consequences…and some BIG changes in the Flash’s world by the time this issue is done. This episode was all about family. Not “happy family”…no, this was about families that were strained to the point of breaking. When we left the last episode, Barry had stranded Nora in the future without telling anyone, even Iris. But, that’s not the only family situation in an episode titled “Snow Pack”. The secret is out. Nora’s mentor is now known to Team Flash, and Barry has locked her up in the Pipeline as a result. We’ll see part of the repercussions of that break in trust tonight. But, we will get so much more than that. We’ll see everything hidden in that journal Nora has been keeping…and there are some serious surprises in the pages of that book. What can I say except…wow! Okay, let’s try this…Trickster has turned into the most formidable Rogue of all, at least for the present. That’s it. James Jesse has pulled “The Greatest Trick of All”, but how he did it is just as important as what he did. In a world turned upside down by his antics, Trickster is in top form…can’t say as much for our favorite speedster, though. This is a great arc so far, so…wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!
