Rogues Rumble Tournament

Flash TV Talk is hosting a tournament for Flash villains, to be voted on by fans! And if you successfully predicted the winners, you could win a digital copy of Flashpoint from Comixology. Full details (including the voting schedule) can be found on their Facebook page, but the basics are as follows:

-Fill out your bracket and send it to FLASH@podastery.com by midnight CST on April 26th, 2014.
-To vote, you must follow Flash TV Talk on Twitter.
-Three rounds of voting will take place each weekday, via RT or Fav.
-Daily voting will close at approximately 9PM CST.
-The winner will be announced on the May 24th episode of the Flash TV Talk podcast.

BuzzFeed has more preview pages for this week’s Flash #30, plus the MAD variant cover featuring mascot Alfred E. Neuman as Gorilla Grodd (shown above). This is the second MAD-themed variant for The Flash, after last April’s issue. Newsarama has combined both sets of previews for the issue, now up to 8 pages out of 20.

The “DC Entertainment” YouTube channel just uploaded an interview at WonderCon with upcoming FLASH writer Robert Venditti.  The questions are the usual fare you’ve heard a alot lately…but take a look at what they put up on screen while they talk about Wally.  This should answer a lot of questions (and possibly confirm some rumors).  The question starts at 0:58 on the video…and the pics begin around 1:13, with a FACE showing up around 1:26.   There is something else about those pics, but we’ll let you comment on that. The video can be seen just after the jump…so, what are YOUR thoughts???

Venditti Discusses Flash At WonderCon

Robert Venditti, the incoming co-writer of the Flash series, appeared at DC’s New 52 panel today at WonderCon. CBR was there to provide coverage of the event, and here are some of the Flash-related highlights. There are possible spoilers revealed here, although nothing major. The creators seem to be keeping most details close to the vest for now.

Batman: Assault On Arkham Trailer

DC/WB has just announced an upcoming animated film called Batman: Assault On Arkham, which will co-star the original Captain Boomerang as part of the Suicide Squad. The film will apparently be set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham video games, which did hint at Boomerang and the appearance of the Squad. It will be out on DVD and Blu-Ray, although the only release date that’s been given so far is a vague “mid-2014”.
