I received an odd email yesterday on the webmaster account for Hyperborea.org:

My name is [removed] and i will like to purchase one of your product in your company. I need to order a Tread Mill and i wanted to know the price for one then i will be able to know the number i can order. You can also email me back with your website for me to choose from the one that suite my requirement. I will be hoping to hear from you soon.

It took me a second to realize it wasn’t just ordinary nonsense spam, but probably triggered by a search matching the writeup on the Cosmic Treadmill, the Flash’s time travel (and dimension travel) device!

Sorry, I don’t have one of those for sale…

White Lantern Barry Action Figure Announced at NYCC 2010

Sorry this is a bit late, but for those who don’t already know DC Direct showed off pics of a slick White Lantern Barry Allen last week at New York Comic-Con 2010:

My first impression of it was “Wally West!” and then I quickly remembered that Wally had nothing to do with Brightest Day and that we haven’t even really seen him (except for the one-off appearances in Magog and Secret Origins) since Flash Rebirth ended. My reaction obviously had to do with the belt and the way it’s been designed.

Flash #6 Pushed to November 10

DC’s website now shows a November 10 release date for Flash #6, and November 24 for Flash #7. No change so far on Flash #8 or #9, which are scheduled for the beginning and end of December.

Flash #6 concludes the opening story arc, “The Dastardly Death of the Rogues.” Flash #7 and #8 are Rogue Profile issues, spotlighting Captain Boomerang and Professor Zoom, drawn by guest artist Scott Kolins.

Photos from New York Comic-Con have been showing up online over the past few days, which reminds me: I never got around to making my mega-post rounding up photos from Dragon*Con! Fortunately, the Irredeemable Shag of Once Upon a Geek was kind enough to offer me permission to repost his photos ahead of time, and he took a lot of Flash photos: Flash, Golden Age Flash, Kid Flash, the Rogues, and even Blue Lantern Flash!
