Colonel Sanders of Two Worlds!?

OK, this is up there with Archie vs. Sharknado for weird tie-in books. Apparently DC and KFC are having the Flash and Green Lantern deal with… the Colonel Sanders of Two Worlds.

I guess it makes sense, I mean, both of them are companies that use initials instead of spelling out the names. Totally the same, right?

Right?

ComicsBeat has preview pages for the comic, which will be released free at NYCC. Update You can read it for free at ComiXology. Captain Cold and Mirror Master team up with the Earth-3 Colonel Sanders. I am not making this up.

Though if they were going to go for the title reference, couldn’t they have tried to make the cover look like the classic Flash of Two Worlds?

Both cosplayers made an impression as I was looking through Instagram and Flickr photos tagged for NYCC, and the fact that they actually met up for a shoot together is fantastic.

Flash #24 Preview Art from NYCC

Flash #24 Preview

DC unveiled two pages of art from Flash #24 at their New 52 panel in NYCC today. Not much else came out about the Flash at this panel, except that the Reverse-Flash’s actions are twisting time, making him “more monstrous.”

No word yet on the new creative team.

When asked about Wally West, Brian Buccellato assured fans that “When the time is right, Wally will return. Don’t applaud–I don’t know when that will be” — basically the usual “hang in there” response.
