DC Comics has added two more Silver Age Flash issues to its digital backlist:
Flash #192: The Day the Flash Failed.
Flash #193: Actually, I can’t tell you about this one, and neither can Captain Cold.
Via THR: Michael Ironside will appear as Lewis Snart, the “estranged, abusive father” of Leonard and Lisa Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold and Golden Glider.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as Lewis is described as cold-blooded, ruthless career criminal. Recently released from prison, he returns to Central City with a plan that will endanger both of his children.
Ironside will appear in the third episode of The Flash season two, “Family of Rogues,” along with Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Glider (Peyton List).
Now I’m trying to remember if the Snarts’ father had a canonical first name in the comics. All I remember is a few Flashbacks and the horribly miscalculated hostage-taking attempt in Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge.

With San Diego Comic-Con finally upon us, we at Speed Force figured it would be a good idea to give you all a quick heads up about what to expect and to look for if you are fortunate enough to be heading to San Diego this weekend.
First off I have to say that it looks like Funko is definitely vying for the title of most convention exclusives ever! From a list of at least 50 Funko products available this year, we are coming away with 2 Flash-related exclusives.
In 1997 a movie named “Con Air” was released, starring Nicolas Cage and telling of a flight for bad guys that went horribly wrong. In 2015, we get an episode of THE FLASH called “Rogue Air”…what could POSSIBLY go wrong this time? Turns out, that may be the least of our worries in the penultimate episode for the first season of THE FLASH!
