Mimoco released this video clip/ad yesterday featuring a race between the Superman and Flash…flash drives.

New LEGO Batman 2 Video Features Flash & More
As Devin reported last week, the Flash, Captain Cold and Gorilla Grodd will appear in Lego Batman 2. Today, CBR published new video and still images from the game, including a brief look at the Scarlet Speedster in action!
Animated Anthem: Seems So Slow
What the heck – I figured I’d post a second video for the Animated Anthems event. This one’s a fan video by tehbasil set to “The Ballad of Barry Allen,” by Jim’s Big Ego, from the album, They’re Everywhere!. If anyone in the music industry knows Barry Allen, it’s singer/songwriter Jim Infantino. He’s the nephew of classic Flash artist Carmine Infantino!
Check back at our first video of the day, the Filmation Flash intro from 1967, or check out the rest of the Animated Anthems being celebrated today!

Flash(back): Animated Anthem
This is the intro for the Flash segments that ran during the Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure (1967-1968). Filmation produced three Flash cartoons in which the Flash and Kid Flash battled original evildoers including a giant mutated bug (The Chemo Creature, seen here), a mad scientist in a robot suit (Professor Crag), and an alien speedster (The Blue Bolt). Sadly, he didn’t actually “conquer the barriers of time and space” in any of the segments they produced.
Warner Bros. released all the non-Superman/Aquaman sequences on DVD a few years back, and I reviewed the set a couple of months after this blog went online.
Even setting aside the image quality, you can see that it’s a very different style from modern shows like Justice League Unlimited and Young Justice, or even Super-Friends. Continue reading
Fan Film: The Flash – The Brave and the Bold
Influence Films debuted last year with the fan film Flash: Crossover. For their eighth project, they’re returned to the scarlet speedster with Flash: The Brave and the Bold
When the father of Wally West’s friend is found dead, The Flash races into action. He soon discovers that to solve the case he might need some help and guidance from his friends: Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl.
You can watch the eight-minute video on YouTube.
DC Universe Online Trailer
I caught this video on Sunday at the DC Comics booth. It’s an incredible battle between DC’s heroes and villains, really showing off some of their powers and skills (particularly Wonder Woman, Deathstroke, Superman and Lex Luthor). Spoilers for the DCUO storyline, so don’t play it if you want to be surprised.
The look, at least for the cut-scenes, is fantastic…though I’m not too big on the image of the Flash in armor.
Update: Devin has some pictures of the Flash in armor and further commentary.
