Karl Kerschl (The Flash in Wednesday Comics) has posted the artwork from his upcoming Teen Titans #90 variant cover, focusing on a certain yellow-clad teen speedster. Click through to the artist’s blog for a larger view.
Shortpacked! Speedster Robin Gets Her Own Statue
Last week, web cartoonist David Willis posted the final design for a statue of Robin DeSanto, the sugar-powered hyperactive speedster from It’s Walky! and Shortpacked!
Robin initially used her super-powers in a top-secret alien-fighting squad (the main story of It’s Walky!). In the years since the alien invasion was thwarted, she has become a simple retail clerk at a toy store (Shortpacked!)…when she’s not moonlighting as a United States Congresswoman.
The statue is available for pre-order now.

State of the Blog: Fall 2010 – Guest Bloggers Wanted!
There are a couple of changes coming up that are going to impact my blogging activity.
The first is that I’m starting a new job on Monday. I’ll be focused on getting up to speed (pun not intended), and the longer commute will leave me with less free time. And depending on their policy on personal internet use, I probably won’t be checking comics news on my breaks.
As for the second change, I’ve mentioned my wife from time to time, such as our Comic-Con costumes, her homemade Flash cupcakes, etc. I’ve been keeping quiet about something…well, here’s a recent photo: Continue reading
Umm…Not For Sale?
I received an odd email yesterday on the webmaster account for Hyperborea.org:
My name is [removed] and i will like to purchase one of your product in your company. I need to order a Tread Mill and i wanted to know the price for one then i will be able to know the number i can order. You can also email me back with your website for me to choose from the one that suite my requirement. I will be hoping to hear from you soon.
It took me a second to realize it wasn’t just ordinary nonsense spam, but probably triggered by a search matching the writeup on the Cosmic Treadmill, the Flash’s time travel (and dimension travel) device!
Sorry, I don’t have one of those for sale…
